Owen Torres

Owen Torres has spent more than 20 years in communications, working to connect organizations with the communities they operate in. He started his career in 2003 at Finn Partners, a global public relations agency.
His experience spans both the public and private sectors. In government, he managed media relations and crisis communications for the Office of the Mayor of Miami-Dade County and served as a spokesperson for the School District of Palm Beach County. In the private sector, he led global communications for Royal Caribbean Group, which includes Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea, and supported communications for mergers and acquisitions across the portfolio. He also held communications and brand roles at The ODP Corporation, parent company to Office Depot and OfficeMax.
Owen currently works at Amazon, where he leads community relations, media strategy, and stakeholder partnerships across the U.S. He holds a degree in Public Relations and lives in South Florida.
