Back to School Drive

Every year, families across Belize struggle to afford basic school supplies – and for many children, that gap can stand between them and a confident start to the school year. In 2024, Build Belize Inc. launched our Back to School Drive to help close it.

With the new school year approaching, our goal was to make sure every child had the resources to start with confidence and enthusiasm, regardless of their family’s circumstances. We collected donations of backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, rulers, and calculators, and monetary contributions were used to purchase additional supplies for students who needed them most.

Thanks to the generosity of our diaspora community and supporters, the drive reached underprivileged children across Belize, easing the burden on their families and sending a message of hope as they began their academic year.
