Kitchen Equipment for School Kitchens

Each year, Build Belize Inc. runs a new Annual Campaign to meet a pressing need in Belizean schools and communities. Our 2026 Annual Campaign is providing essential supplies and equipment to existing school kitchens across Belize districts, so children can continue to receive nourishing meals every school day.

Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and succeed – but for many students in Belize, hunger stands in the way.

Across Belize, school kitchens play a vital role in providing meals to children, where for some, it’s the only meal they will receive for the day. Many of these kitchens lack the space and equipment needed to prepare nutritious meals for students.

With your help, we can enable many of these schools to have the appropriate kitchen equipment (refrigerators, stoves, food processors, utensils, fire extinguishers, cutting boards, storage containers, and other essential kitchen items). Without the right tools, schools struggle to prepare meals safely and consistently.

Supporters can give financially or purchase needed items through our Amazon Wish List. Most major equipment will be purchased from Belizean businesses, helping support both our schools and our local economy. An under-equipped school kitchen is not a minor inconvenience. It directly affects a child’s health, development, ability to focus, and readiness to learn.
