Rashad Tucker


Rashad Rucker-Trapp is a dedicated public servant and community leader in Los Angeles. As the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Reimagine LA Foundation, he has spearheaded numerous initiatives to uplift and empower underserved communities.

Rashad’s commitment to public service began early, serving in the California State Assembly internship program and as an active member of the Los Angeles City Youth Council. He was appointed to the West Adams Neighborhood Council in 2006, where he served for five years, four as Vice-President. During his tenure, he championed projects that improved neighborhood parks, schools, and community events.

In 2019, Rashad was appointed by Mayor Eric Garcetti to serve as a Commissioner for the Community and Family Services Commission, further amplifying his impact. His proudest accomplishments include being a devoted father to his 9-year-old daughter, Turcora, and his ministry through the Church of Christ in Los Angeles County.

Rashad’s tireless advocacy, innovative solutions, and unwavering dedication have made him a respected and influential voice in the City of Los Angeles, driving positive change and uplifting communities.
